  • 1/2 small onion -- roughly chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic -- roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak

InstructionsInstructions  1. Combine all ingredients except steak in a mixing bowl.
2. Whisk until well combined.
3. Place steak in ziplock bag or casserole dish, and pour marinade over.
4. Marinate in refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes, up to 2 days.
5. Grill over hot coals, brushing with extra marinade throughout.
6. Grill until golden and cooked to desired doneness, about 6-8 minutes per side (medium rare).
7. Slice thinly to serve.
