  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 T ginger root,chopped
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 whole cinnamon stick
  • 6 oz orange juice,Frozen -concentrate
  • 1/2 c orange juice,freshly -squeezed
  • 1 whole orange,thinly sliced
  • 1 whole lemon,thinly sliced

InstructionsInstructions  1. In a medium saucepan combine water, sugar, gingerroot, cloves, and cinnamon.
2. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3. Reduce heat and simmer, incovered, for 5 minutes.
4. Cool mixture; cover and let steep in refrigerator for several hours.
5. Meanwhile, prepare apple and orange juices according to product instructions.
6. In a large container combine the apple juice, orange juice, and lemon juice.
7. Cover and chill.
8. Strain steeped ginger mixtrue.
9. In a punch bowl stir together the fruit juices and ginger mixture.
10. Reserve 8 lemon or orange slices.
11. Foat remaining fruit slices in the punch.
12. Cut reserved fruit slices in half.
13. Garnish each cup with half a fruit slice and an orange curl (optional), if desired.
