CHICKEN FRIED STEAK
Ingredients
2 lb. beef round steak
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1 c. crushed saltine crackers
Salt & pepper to taste
Cooking oil for frying

Instructions
1. Pound the steak with knife, cut into serving pieces.
2. Blend egg and milk.
3. Mix on separate plate, cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.
4. Dip meat into egg mixture then crackers.
5. Brown meat on both sides in hot oil, then turn heat down to simmer, cover skillet and cook until tender 40-45 minutes.
6. Gravy for meat: Remove meat when done from pan, add a little water/flour mixture to drippings.
7. Bring to a boil.
8. Then simmer until desired consistency.
