  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons oil & 1/4 cup chopped almonds

InstructionsInstructions  1. in a bowl, combine flours, 1/3 cup oatmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and 1 tsp cinnamon.
2. in a seperate bowl, combine buttermilk, eggs and oil.
combine and stir into dry ingredients until blended.
3. fold in blueberries - mix together remaining oatmeal and cinnamon.
blend in almonds and brown sugar.
4. sprinkle about 1 tsp toppping for each pancake on lightly greased griddle.
5. pour 1/4 cup batter over topping.
6. immediately sprinkle with another 1 tsp topping -- 7. turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes.
8. cook till second side is golden brown
