Peppered Steak with Mushrooms
Ingredients

Tri Tip Steaks (or Top Sirloin)
1/4
cup Table Grind Black Pepper (Very Course)
Olive Oil1
package sliced Mushrooms

ounces Heavy Cream

shot Cognac

Instructions
1. Spred pepper on a flat1 surface.
2. Press the steaks firmly on each side coating the steaks with the pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a heavy frying pan and cook the steaks several minutes on each side.
4. I use medium heat.
5. Once steaks are done to your liking, (ie: rare, medium,or done.)
6. remove the steaks from the frying pan and place in a warm oven to keep.
7. Place the mushrooms in the frying pan to saute.
8. You may have to add a little more Olive Oil.
9. Once the mushrooms are tender add the heavy cream and cognac.
10.Let the sauce simmer and bubble stirring often.
11.Pour the sauce over the steaks and serve.
